Neat Negotiations

The Odd Couple featured 2 men who shared a New York City apartment.  Conflict, inevitably, arose between the one who was ultra-neat and one who was an utter slob.  Many married couples find themselves in a similar situation.  It can be further complicated by the fact that one who is neat in one area may be completely sloppy in another because mess does not register on his/her mind in particular contexts.  Here are two examples that could well come from a husband and wife married to each other:
