Thank you, Frayda. The recipes are a hit with my family, though a couple of them don't favor apple cake in general.

Thanks. I generally keep to fairly simple recipes that the family likes. So I no longer make lemon meringue pie from scratch with a cake meal crust as I did many years back. Not everyone even likes lemon meringue pie, so it is not worth the work.
