This is really sad. Yes, a young couple needs a place to live, but someone needs to pay for it. Especially in these tough economic times. Perhaps the yeshivas should try and broker deals for low-cost housing for kollel families? Job training so they could earn some money? But selling your kidney? I do not want to be in that mans shoes...
