just wondering

When you hear something described as "high end," does that make it sound more or less appealing to you?

To me it means top quality. However, I don't think you have to buy top of the line to get very good quality. You can buy a mattress or an oven that is better than average, but much less inexpensive than "high end" or "top of the line." "High end" usually has unnecessary cosmetic accessories that add to the cost, or electronic bells and whistles that break easily and aren't needed for good performance.
